Pursuant to Government Code Section 1780, notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of Jackson Valley Irrigation District. The Board of Directors is seeking letters of interest from qualified members (a voter and landowner) of the District.
Persons interested in applying for the vacancy must submit a letter of interest no later than August 8, 2024, and send by mail, or hand delivery to JVID, 6755 Lake Amador Drive, Ione, CA 95640. The new Director’s term will run until the 2027 District election. The remaining four Directors intend to conduct interviews and select a replacement from among the qualified applications at their next regular Board Meeting on August 14, 2024.
